Principal Conrado Buccat representing the Department of Education (DEPED) during the flag raising ceremony at the Municipal Gymnasium acknowledged the assistance and participation of the municipal and Barangay local government units during the training and provincial meet period. He further said that there were lapses in the management but let it be a lesson for us to rectify our failures in the future.

Likewise, Mayor Mariano B. Buyagawan, Jr. congratulated the DEPED for a job well done. He also made an explanation that the Nine Hundred Thousand (P900,000.00)pesos LGU budget was appropriated as an assistance to DEPED sports activities and not particularly for the Provincial Meet. He further said that Lamut LGU gave the biggest financial assistance compared to other stable municipality like Alfonso Lista who allotted Four Hundred Thousand (P400,000.00) pesos financial assistance to its delegation.

With regards to the training venue for the CARAA athletes, Mayor Buyagawan also said that Lamut is very willing to offer the training venue and he further said that he will try to bid for the hosting of the 2015 Provincial Meet.#
